How long does the interview process take?
With offering a range of different documentaries, interview lengths will vary but are typically around a half-hour but can be as long as two hours.
What questions will you ask?
Every documentary is different, depending on the story being told. We will conduct preliminary research into the subject and tailor our questions to meet their specific story.
Are setup and breakdown times included in the allotted interview time?
We take care of all setup and breakdown before and after the allotted interview time.
How long does it take to receive the final documentary?
You will receive the final documentary within 30 days of completing the final interview.
Is there a limit to the number of interviews?
No. Every service we offer is customizable to fit your needs, including however many interviews you feel are needed to fully capture the story being told.
Where are you located?
We are currently based in Sussex County, New Jersey but are a mobile service that offers a wide range of travel.
Can the service be used for people of all ages?
Yes, our services are open to people of all ages. We have interviewed people ranging in age from 6 to 86.
Can the final documentary be shared on social media or other platforms?
Yes, once the final documentary is received, it is yours to share as you wish, whether that be on social media or other platforms.
How will I receive the final documentary?
Once complete, we will send it to you via a digital download link. You will have 14 days to download it as many times as you need, and it will be yours to keep forever.
If you would like a physical copy, we can provide that for no additional charge as long as you provide us with a hard drive to transfer it to. No other forms of physical media are available at this time.
What is your revisions policy?
After we have completed the initial edit of your documentary, we will send you a watermarked preview copy to review. At that time you will have 7 days to request minor changes at no additional cost to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the final product. However, once final delivery has been made, any further changes will be subject to additional charges and availability.
Can you accommodate people with disabilities?
Yes, we are able to accommodate individuals with disabilities and will work with you to ensure the interview process is as comfortable as possible for them.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a deposit of 1/3 of the total cost at the signing of the contract.
What is your payment structure for your services?
Our payment structure is 1/3 of the total cost due at the signing of the contract, 1/3 due the day of the first interview, and the final 1/3 due upon approval of the preview copy, before release of the final documentary.
Why do you require payments in thirds?
We require payment in thirds to ensure that both parties are committed to the project and to also spread out the cost of the project over the course of its production.
What is your cancellation policy?
If the project is canceled before any interview has taken place, we will refund 50% of the deposit. However, once the interview process has begun, we will not be able to process a refund of any kind but we will not expect payment of the final 1/3.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds once the interview process has begun. However, if you are not satisfied with the final product, we will work with you to make any necessary revisions.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are no hidden fees. We will be upfront with you before signing the contract about the cost of everything.
