What People Are Saying About Eternal Stories

As a business owner, it's easy to get caught up in the monotony of doing taxes, speaking with customers and making future plans. So much so that you forget that you're doing something very personal and special. What initially seemed like something to promote our brand and products pleasantly became a sweet reminder of the work we've done together. I recommend any work-weary entrepreneurs to treat themselves to themselves and reinvigorate their love for their craft via Eternal Stories.
-Tom Lake, Bad Luck Acres

I can't thank Eternal Stories enough for making this possible. The entire documentary process was seamless; they were professional and hospitable from start to finish...if you're a small business, consider having them film a small business documentary for you!
-Brianna Nakonechny, The Coop Woodshop

We really can't thank Eternal Stories enough for putting this together so beautifully. Highly, highly recommend for your documentary needs.

You never know when somebody in your family is going to get sick or when life is going to change unexpectedly. And to have this documentary about my dad means something that my family and I could never have imagined when this project was started...It reminds me of how he was before he got sick. And the documentary now has a completely different meaning because we can hear his voice the way it was. We can see him healthy and the way he was. Because after he got sick, his voice never sounded the same. He didn't look the same. And now we have that documentary to look back on and to watch whenever we want to hear his voice as it was and to see him as he was...And what makes it so incredibly special is my children said to me, "Mom...our children, will never know Papa. They will never know what his voice sounds like. They will never hear his stories from him, told by him." Well, now with Eternal Stories, they can.
-Michelle Valentine, "My Grandfather Louie"

Having this documentary on his life now after he has passed, still a small part of it is very much that he's still alive.
-Art Frisbie, "My Grandfather Louie"

Everybody always says, "Why did we wait till a funeral to honor this person? Why is it after they're gone that everybody gets together and starts talking nicely about them?" The gift was sharing this with him and him knowing the love that everybody had for him and that everybody got to share that independently. But when it was all woven together, the common threads of who he was and what he meant to us, he got to experience...People give speeches and you forget them. People say nice things and maybe they stick with you. But when you have a documentary of all of this love that's shared on that person's behalf and you get to share it with them, it changed the way he saw himself. I know he did not know what he meant to us.
-Lisa Frisbie, "My Grandfather Louie"

When the video was played at his funeral, it really got me choked up because the words that were said before the video was presented was, "Who gets to speak at their own funeral?" That is probably the most special thing I have ever heard in my life. That is what sticks with me. That is what I cry about still. It's just such an eye-opening moment where it's like, "Who does?" And he did...it's something that we can refer back to and smile at. It's not something sad. It's something that we get to re-experience over and over and over again.
-Marissa Valentine, "The Life, Love and Legacy of Lou Cecchini"

You always think of these things after the fact...and to have gone through the process, had it edited and put together and be able to watch it with him was a gift beyond compare...Now that he's not with us, we get...this incredible keepsake for the rest of our lives.
-Michael Cecchini, "My Grandfather Louie"

He'll always be with us. It's pretty interesting to sit and watch it with him. And now that he's gone, watching it after he's gone, it's like reliving that whole experience again while we're watching it...I'm so thankful that we were able to experience this whole Eternal Stories project. It was absolutely amazing.
-Louie Cecchini, "My Grandfather Louie"

[To have] that documentary and whether you want to watch the whole thing or you want to watch a little part or you want to watch a story that reminds you specifically of him...it's unmatched. There's nothing else out there that brings you that comfort, that brings you that happiness, that is able to connect you with that person almost directly.
-Chad Frisbie, "My Grandfather Louie"

Not just videos of stories from other people sharing them, but videos of him talking about his life and us. And seeing him and watching him smile, just I can't put into words how much it means to me...It was just beautiful and is beautiful to have something, especially at the end, especially now with him passing, that was just so pure in the moment and not driven by missing someone.
-Ashley Caine, "My Grandfather Louie"

Speaking while he was with us, as it was not in a past tense memory, it just makes watching it a little bit more special...To have that to look back on on my grandfather has just been so incredibly valuable...to [have] those memories and those stories...coming directly from him...It's something I'm thankful for and definitely really, really special to be able to recommend to somebody else.
